What's Gŵyl Canol Dre?
Gŵyl Canol Dre is a festival organised by Menter Gorllewin Sir Gâr which was held for the first time in 2018 in Parc Myrddin, Carmarthen, which is one of the main Welsh events in the Carmarthen area. The festival is a day of fun and entertainment for people from Carmarthenshire and beyond, including a range of activities and events for everyone, including performances of live music, sport, literature, art and a variety of workshops. There are two stages on the field, one featuring well-known individuals and bands from the Welsh rock scene performing along with various performances by schools in the area. The festival offers a platform for businesses with a stall area to sell goods and products and to local organisations to promote their services.
