For free!

 

Who can come to the festival?

This is a family festival so there will be something for everyone.

 

What if I'm learning Welsh?

Of course! We will have workshops and events for everyone. Click here for the full timetable.

 

What will be there?

Music, art, food and drink, literature, stalls, sports, workshops and much more!

 

Will I need to show my ID card?

Festival attendees may be asked to produce an ID card to prove their age at the bar.

 

Are there any age restrictions?

As Gŵyl Canol Dre Festival is a family festival, everyone is welcome. We kindly ask children under 11 to be accompanied by an adult.

 

What is the festival timetable?

Here is the list of all 2023 artists and workshops that have been published so far here. We publish weekly, so please check our website and/or social media regularly.

 

Where can I park?

You are welcome to park in one of the town's car parks in Carmarthen. All car parks are within walking distance of the festival. Click here to see a video showing the way. There will be free parking at all Carmarthen’ Carmarthenshire County Council car parks on the day.

 

I have a blue badge, where can I park?

There is a car park at Parc Myrddin. Attendees will have access to a blue badge. Display your badge and show it to the stewards at the entrance.

 

What time does the entrance open?

The entrance will open at 11am.

 

What if it is raining?

Remember to dress appropriately for the weather as the main stage will be outdoors. However, the workshops will take place indoors in tents.

 

Can I bring a picnic?

You are welcome to bring your own picnic, but please do not bring alcoholic drinks. We will have a variety of food and drink stalls as well as a bar, so something to please everyone. We will publish the list of caterers here soon.

 

Will there be toilets and nappy changing facilities on site?

There will be plenty of toilets, disabled toilets and nappy changing facilities at the festival.

 

Can I bring my dog ​​to the festival?

Dogs are not allowed except registered assistance dogs or emotional support dogs.

 

Will photos or videos be taken of the festival?

Menter Gorllewin Sir Gâr, the organisers will be taking photographs/filming at the event. The images will be used in the following ways:

Menter and Gŵyl Canol Dre's publicity - printed and digitally (including social media) 

Share with third-party organizations to use to promote the festival

Will there be any medical provision on-site?

Medical coverage will be on-site throughout the event and will be located in the First Aid tent near the entrance
